Road Block Permit Request Form

Permit Requirements

  • Anyone collecting on the roadways must be at least 18 years of age.
  • All persons collecting must be wearing reflective traffic vests at all times.
  • The name of the organization collecting is to be displayed on signs and on the buckets being used to collect funds.
  • A flashing yellow light must be in use the entire time anyone is collecting donations. (Exceptions are red lights for firefighters and blue lights for law enforcement.) Light must set on top of a vehicle or stand.
  • Only organizations from this area will be allowed to collect funds on the city streets.
  • No vehicles are to be parked alongside of the roadway except for the vehicle running the flashing lights.
  • Any time during the collections process the Hillview Police Department receives a complaint about the behavior of the persons collecting or officers witness behavior that is unsafe of causing problems the permit to collect donations will be revoked and you will no longer be permitted to collect.
  • This permit must be displayed at all times while persons are collecting donations.
  • Anyone wishing to collect donations inside the city limits will be limited to one (1) intersection at any given time and only one (1) intersection per day.

       (NOTE: Law Enforcement & Fire Departments are exempt from this rule)
